ToggleThe creative 20-year-old, who is held in high regard back in his native America, completed a move to European football in November 2022. Some 12 months on from that transfer being agreed, Aaronson has taken in his first Bundesliga start.

That historic outing for the exciting playmaker came in a meeting with Augsburg on December 3. He took in seven outings in the German top-flight during his debut campaign with Eintracht. A further six appearances have been made in the 2023-24 campaign.
All of those minutes came from off the bench, but Aaronson has now made a Bundesliga starting XI for the first time. He will be eager to make that nod the first of many, with the youngster now looking to break his goal duck in Europe.
Brother Brenden, who also forms part of the USMNT squad, is also looking to make his mark in Germany this season. He is with Union Berlin after completing a season-long loan from Leeds, with things not going to plan for the 23-year-old midfielder as he faces the threat of being relegated in back-to-back campaigns.
